The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) provides an opportunity to parties involved in planning matters to seek further review of those matters where required. When parties are dissatisfied with a decision of Council an application can be lodged with the Tribunal to review the decision and an application can be lodged with the tribunal to have the matter reviewed.
We regularly advise on the most appropriate method of appeal to VCAT.
We are able to advise on the process involved in making an application to VCAT. We are also able to provide an examination and explanation of the issues involved in the matter, advise as to the most appropriate course of action, and the chance of a successful outcome.
JGC are able to act on behalf of private clients, local government, other government authorities and individuals.
