Deakin Central located on the grand boulevard of Deakin Avenue in the CBD of Mildura is the largest commercial development in the locality. It is proposed the first tenancy of the development will house Officeworks. The development involves a floor area in excess of 6000m2, with a central car park.

JGC assisted with the development approval in liaison with objectors and the many authorities involved in the process of obtaining the approval. Issues of note in the development included architectural design, urban design, public transport and consideration of state government publications in relation to activity centre and safer design guidelines.
